e-INIS Training Courses

e-INIS Storage Procurement advances

Procurement of the storage hardware for two regional nodes of the national data store is underway, amid growing interest from the national research community.

e-INIS is a federation of core electronic infrastructure providers dedicated to the provision of a sustainable national infrastructure for the support of advanced research activities in Ireland. The project aims to coordinate and enhance the activities of existing resource providers, and to form a cohesive offering to the Irish research community of a scale that enables internationally competitive research.


The e-INIS federation offers:
  • access to advanced capacity and capability computing facilities
  • specialist expert user support and training
  • secure network and grid services
  • pilot data services

e-INIS National Data Services

A major contribution of the e-INIS project is the creation of a federated national datastore and the provision of associated services. The implementation of this resource is being undertaken as a significant coordinated activity of the existing e-INIS infrastructure partners >>
